Chapter 8 - The Banishment

The loyal syndicate guards stepped forward. They violently ripped the expensive grey suit jacket off Silas’s shoulders. They tore the gold watch from his wrist and confiscated his encrypted phone.

Silas thrashed and sobbed on the concrete, completely humiliated in front of the entire crew.

"Take him to the warehouse," Damon ordered coldly, turning his back on the weeping traitor. "Break his legs. Then throw him directly onto the front steps of the Russian cartel headquarters. Tell them he stole their money."

"No! Please! They'll torture me!" Silas shrieked hysterically as four massive guards violently grabbed his arms and dragged him away.

His pathetic, desperate cries echoed across the tarmac until he was thrown into the back of a dark transport van. The heavy metal doors slammed shut, completely swallowing his toxic existence into violent ruin forever. The threat was entirely, permanently neutralized.

Damon stood in the center of the tarmac, adjusting his black suit jacket. The chaotic, violent energy of the betrayal completely evaporated from the air.

He took a slow, heavy breath, the terrifying executioner vanishing into the shadows.
