Chapter 5 - The Execution of the Lease

"I own the deed. I own the land. I own the dining room table you just screamed at my wife over," Robert stated clinically.

Vanessa physically staggered backward. Her entire arrogant, toxic universe completely collapsed into dust in a matter of seconds. The multi-million-dollar suburban estate wasn't hers. She was just a broke tenant living in a house owned by the exact elderly man she had treated like garbage.

"You can't do this to us!" Vanessa shrieked wildly, violently thrashing her arms. "We have a legal lease! You can't just kick us out because you're angry!"

"Actually, I can," Robert replied smoothly, pulling a sleek, encrypted smartphone from his pocket.

He didn't call the police. He dialed a highly specific, direct line to his elite corporate attorneys. He put the phone on speaker, allowing the deep, authoritative voice of his senior counsel to echo through the dining room.

"Yes, Mr. Vance?" the lawyer answered immediately.

"Execute the morality clause on the residential lease for Daniel and Vanessa," Robert ordered flawlessly, completely devoid of mercy.

"Dad, wait!" Daniel wailed pathetically, completely humiliating himself as he dropped to his knees on the hardwood floor. "Please! We don't have anywhere else to go! We can't afford rent in this city! I'll make her apologize!"

"An apology doesn't fix a rotten core, Daniel," Robert whispered coldly. "The lease explicitly states that any verbal or physical abuse toward the property owners results in immediate, non-negotiable termination."

👉 Vanessa frantically tried to play her final, vicious card to save her ruined empire.
