Chapter 7 - The Final Judgment

"Damen, wait! It was the cartel!" Julian choked out, his face turning purple as Damen’s heavily tattooed forearm pressed directly against his windpipe. "They made me do it! I'm your blood!"
Damen’s expression was a mask of cold, lethal authority. He didn't scream. He didn't argue.
"You brought assassins into my home," Damen whispered, his voice vibrating with a dark, demonic promise. "You poisoned my glass. But your ultimate sin, Julian... you ordered a gun pointed at a child in my study."
Damen didn't kill him in the room. He didn't want the little girl to see the violence.
He violently threw his brother to the floor, where Atlas immediately stepped over Julian, growling ferociously, keeping the traitor pinned to the ground.
Damen pressed a button on his desk intercom. Within seconds, his true, loyal elite enforcers stormed into the room, their weapons drawn.
"Take him to the subterranean holding cells," Damen ordered coldly, not taking his eyes off his brother. "Strip his accounts. Erase his name from the family ledger. I will deal with him personally tonight."
Julian shrieked, kicking and thrashing wildly as the massive men dragged him backward out of the luxury study. His pathetic cries echoed down the hall until the heavy steel doors of the basement swallowed him entirely.
