Without a single hesitation, Mia kicked open the heavy titanium doors of the master server room with a violent, deafening crash. Five panicked, pale Obsidian Council leaders scrambled backward in absolute horror.
Their massive computer monitors were completely fried, sparking and smoking from Mia’s ruthless viral counter-code. Seated at the center of the room was the arrogant Supreme Director, a disgraced former warlord who thought he could extort the new queen of the Moretti empire.
Mia stated with a low, vibrating rumble of absolute death that they had tried to steal her data and threatened the children under her family's protection. The heavily armed mercenaries guarding the Director instantly dropped their weapons, terrified of the laser sights perfectly painting their chests from the darkness.
