Chapter 7 - The Erupting Rage
Luca slowly raised his heavily tattooed hand, turning the faded photograph around so Daniel could clearly see the smiling faces of Matteo and Elena.
"You told her she would disappear like Matteo," Luca stated coldly, ensuring every single syllable hit like a physical blow.
Daniel’s confident, arrogant face turned the color of wet ash.
Driven by pure, animalistic panic, Daniel realized his five-year-old secret had just been completely exposed. He didn't try to explain. He aggressively reached under his grey suit jacket for his suppressed tactical pistol, fully intending to assassinate Luca and slaughter the mother and child.
He was far too slow.
Before Daniel's fingers could even grip the handle of his weapon, Luca lunged forward with devastating, surgical brutality. The apex predator grabbed Daniel’s wrist, twisting it violently until a sickening snap echoed through the office.
Daniel shrieked in agony, dropping the pistol onto the expensive Persian rug.

Luca didn't stop. He grabbed the Underboss by the throat, lifted him completely off his feet, and violently slammed him backward into the heavy mahogany desk. The golden lion statue crashed to the floor.
