Chapter 7 - The Billionaire's Wrath

Mr. Sterling slowly stood up to his full height.

He didn't yell. He didn't curse. The sheer, unbreakable calm of his demeanor was a thousand times more terrifying than a violent outburst. He turned slowly and looked at Victoria.

Victoria physically staggered backward, reading the absolute, apocalyptic doom in his eyes.

"Darling... please," Victoria stammered, backing away toward the mansion. "They're just kids! You know how children bruise! It was an accident!"

"Take off the ring," Mr. Sterling commanded quietly.

"What?" Victoria gasped, clutching her chest.

"Take off the three-hundred-thousand-dollar engagement ring I bought you, Victoria," Mr. Sterling repeated, his voice devoid of any human mercy. "And hand it to me right now."

Victoria began to hyperventilate. Her hands shook violently as she slid the massive diamond off her finger and dropped it into his outstretched palm.

"You have exactly two minutes to pack whatever you can fit into a single bag," Mr. Sterling stated coldly. "My security team will escort you off this property. If I ever see your face near my children again, I will not call the police. I will handle it myself. Do you understand me?"

Victoria let out a high-pitched, humiliated sob. She turned and sprinted back into the mansion, her toxic, arrogant existence permanently swallowed into ruin.

The threat was entirely neutralized. The monster was banished.
