"Hold on," Jude barked into the phone, pressing mute. The ruthless, terrifying billionaire completely melted.

Brinley ran up to the desk. She didn't have her teddy bear anymore. She had a colorful drawing of a tall man holding hands with a little girl.

"Look what I made you, Jude!" Brinley beamed, holding it up.

Jude smiled warmly, gently taking the drawing. He didn't put it in a drawer. He placed it directly in the center of his massive desk, right where the handgun used to sit.

"It's perfect, sweetheart," Jude whispered softly.

Elena walked into the office, carrying a tablet with the final corporate contracts. She wore a sharp, custom-tailored white blazer, radiating absolute health, power, and undeniable royalty.

She looked at Jude, her heart swelling with an overwhelming, unshakeable peace. The man with the violent scar hadn't just given them a job; he had given them an unbreakable family.

Jude looked up at Elena, his dark eyes shining with fierce, protective love.
