Chapter 2 - The Groom's Shock

The cinematic realism of the suffocating tension instantly paralyzed the grand entryway.

A tight close-up captured the elderly grandmother’s face. She didn't scream. She didn't fight back. She looked down at her ruined, crushed white flowers soaking in the freezing ice bucket with deep, quiet, and profoundly heartbreaking sadness.

"They were for him," the Grandmother whispered softly, her frail voice cracking with genuine emotion.

"I don't care who they were for!" Victoria shrieked wildly, her toxic arrogance flaring as she signaled for her massive corporate security guards. "You are trespassing at a private, multi-million-dollar event! Throw her out onto the street!"

Suddenly, the heavy double doors leading from the main ballroom swung open.

Daniel, the thirty-something groom, stepped into the entryway. He was a devastatingly handsome man wearing a perfectly tailored black tuxedo with an unbuttoned jacket, looking completely relaxed after his wedding speech. But the moment his eyes landed on the cruel scene unfolding by the door, he completely froze.

A medium shot captured Daniel’s natural micro-expressions. The relaxed, happy groom instantly vanished. His expression violently dropped into sheer, unadulterated shock, immediately followed by cold, lethal anger.
