Chapter 2 - The Arrogant Refusal

The cinematic tension in the first-class cabin spiked. The wealthy passengers in the surrounding seats completely stopped their quiet conversations, eagerly watching the confrontation unfold.
Before Richard could deliver a cruel insult, Captain Elizabeth Hart stepped into the cabin.
Elizabeth was a seasoned, highly respected pilot in her late forties. She had neatly styled brown hair and wore a crisp, immaculate navy blue captain’s uniform with gleaming gold-striped epaulettes. She projected an aura of complete, unwavering authority.
"Is there a problem here?" Captain Elizabeth asked professionally, stepping between the teenager and the seated executive.
"This child is harassing me," Richard sneered, snapping his newspaper back open. "Tell her to go find an empty seat in economy where she belongs."
Captain Elizabeth didn't blindly obey the wealthy man. She pulled out her digital manifest tablet and politely asked Zara for her boarding pass. The captain carefully checked both reservations against the system's absolute data.
"Sir," Captain Elizabeth stated calmly, looking directly at the arrogant executive. "The young lady is correct. She is legally ticketed for Seat 2A. Your actual assignment is Seat 2B, on the aisle. I need you to move immediately so we can secure the cabin for departure."
Richard let out a loud, theatrical sigh of pure disgust. He didn't unbuckle his seatbelt. Instead, he aggressively settled deeper into the plush leather of the window seat, crossing his arms over his brown pinstripe suit in absolute defiance.

"I’m not moving because some child wants the window," Richard declared arrogantly, his voice loud enough for the entire cabin to hear. "I am an Executive Platinum member. I fly this route every single week. I sit by the window. Have the flight attendants move her to the back."
👉 Zara didn't cry or argue; she simply reached into her pocket, preparing to make a phone call that would trigger a massive corporate earthquake.
