Chapter 9 - The Rightful Seat

Zara looked down at the weeping, broken man. She remembered the open contempt in his eyes just five minutes ago when he had looked at her simple cream sweater and ordered her to the back of the plane.

"My father doesn't do misunderstandings," Zara replied calmly, her voice radiating the absolute, titanium confidence of her family.

"Stand up, sir. Now," the police officer commanded aggressively, violently grabbing Richard by the arm of his expensive pinstripe suit and hauling him forcefully out of the leather seat.

The wealthy passengers watched in absolute, stunned silence as the cruel, arrogant executive was forcefully dragged backward down the wide aisle, crying and screaming in total, undeniable disgrace. He was hauled off the aircraft and dragged down the jet bridge, completely humiliated in front of the entire flight crew he used to terrorize.

The heavy aircraft door was finally pushed completely shut, locking with a loud, satisfying mechanical click.

The toxic, arrogant energy was entirely dragged out of the first-class cabin.

Captain Elizabeth let out a massive, heavy exhale, her entire body relaxing as the catastrophic corporate crisis was successfully averted. She turned to the quiet, fourteen-year-old girl standing in the aisle.

"I am incredibly sorry for the unacceptable disrespect you experienced, Miss Coleman," Captain Elizabeth said smoothly, offering a deep, highly respectful nod. "Seat 2A is officially secured for you."

Zara smiled a genuine, polite smile. She wasn't an arrogant brat; she was just a girl who demanded the exact fairness she had paid for.
