Chapter 1 - The Stolen Seat

The first-class cabin of Flight 212 was an atmosphere of quiet, untouchable luxury. Soft ambient lighting illuminated the plush, oversized leather seats as wealthy passengers sipped pre-departure champagne.
But the pristine calm of the cabin was abruptly broken in row two.
Zara Coleman, a fourteen-year-old girl traveling completely alone, stopped in the wide aisle beside Seat 2A. She didn't look like a typical first-class passenger. She had fair, rosy skin, long brown hair, and expressive hazel eyes, wearing a simple cream sweater, dark trousers, and clean sneakers. She carried only a small red travel bag.
Sitting comfortably in Seat 2A, the window seat, was Richard Bennett.
Richard was a powerful corporate executive in his late fifties. He had perfectly styled silver hair and wore an immaculate brown pinstripe suit, a crisp white dress shirt, and a massively expensive luxury watch. He was a man completely accustomed to receiving special treatment, radiating a toxic, dismissive arrogance.
He didn't even look up as Zara approached. He simply snapped his newspaper open, entirely ignoring the teenager standing in the aisle.
Zara didn't nervously walk away. She remained unusually composed, entirely calm in the face of his blatant intimidation. She carefully checked her digital boarding pass on her smartphone, verifying the seat number one last time.
"Sir," Zara stated firmly, her polite but confident voice breaking the quiet hum of the cabin. "I have a valid First Class ticket, and you’re sitting in my seat."

Richard slowly lowered his newspaper. He looked the fourteen-year-old girl up and down, his eyes lingering on her simple cream sweater and clean sneakers with open, unfiltered contempt.
👉 Richard scoffed, entirely unaware that the quiet teenager standing in front of him possessed enough power to ground the entire aircraft.
