Chapter 7 - The Undeniable Proof

The high-definition video played for the entire room.
It clearly showed Marcus opening the blue folder, finding the shredded paper, and actively panicking. The audio was flawless.
"He can't know! If he knew, he would have called the police!" Marcus’s recorded voice echoed through the speakers.
"We have to fix it! If we don't have a clean copy of the sabotaged contract for him to sign, our partners will kill us!" Evelyn’s hysterical voice followed.
The video ended. The silence that followed was absolute, terrifying, and dripping with imminent, inescapable justice.
Marcus stumbled backward, dropping the USB drive onto the floor. The arrogant executive realized his entire life had just violently collapsed into dust.
"You set us up!" Marcus roared, his face flushing red with unadulterated fury. He lunged toward Daniel with a raised fist.
But Daniel didn't flinch.
Before Marcus could even take two steps, three massive, heavily armed corporate security guards stepped into the office, violently grabbing Marcus by the arms and twisting them behind his back.
"Get your hands off me!" Marcus shrieked, kicking wildly as the guards hauled him backward.
"You are done," Daniel whispered, stepping into Marcus's personal space. "You are completely, irreversibly ruined."
Evelyn fell to her knees on the expensive carpet, weeping pathetically, her pristine white dress wrinkling. "Daniel, please! They forced us! They said they would expose our offshore accounts if we didn't help them! Have mercy!"
"You showed my company no mercy," Daniel replied, completely devoid of human empathy.
