Chapter 10 - The Blind Justice

"No... please!" Isabella wailed hysterically, dropping to her knees on the marble floor. "Dominic, I'm your fiancée! Elena, I'm your sister! You can't do this to me! They'll lock me away forever!"
"You locked my wife in a nightmare for four years," Dominic replied, utterly devoid of human mercy.
He gestured to Marcus, who stepped into the room holding a pair of heavy steel handcuffs.
"Take her out to the front gates," Dominic commanded coldly. "Strip her of her jewelry and her phone. Leave her on the street for the authorities. If she tries to run, let the rival cartel find her first."
"No! Please!" Isabella screamed, thrashing wildly as Marcus violently hauled her to her feet.
The guards dragged the weeping, humiliated socialite backward out of the study. Her pathetic cries echoed through the grand mansion until the heavy front doors slammed shut, completely swallowing her toxic existence into ruin forever. The monster was finally banished.
The chaotic, violent energy completely evaporated from the room.
Dominic took a slow, heavy breath, the terrifying executioner vanishing into the shadows. He turned his scarred face toward Elena and Lily.
Lily ran across the room, wrapping her tiny arms around his legs. Dominic dropped to his knees, burying his face in his daughter’s hair, tears of pure, overwhelming joy finally spilling from beneath his dark glasses. Elena knelt beside them, wrapping her arms around her husband's broad shoulders.
The blind mafia boss had lost his sight, but he had finally found his light.

Isabella spent the rest of her life rotting in a maximum-security federal prison, constantly looking over her shoulder. Dominic officially dismantled the violent branches of his syndicate, using his massive wealth to build a legitimate, untouchable empire for his family.
If you were Dominic, would you have handed Isabella over to the police, or was tossing her to the rival cartels the ultimate, perfect justice?
