The Arrogant Fiancée Kicked the Maid Into the Freezing Snow — Until the 4-Year-Old Sneaked Into the Boss's Study With a Gold-Wrapped Box

"Leave the doors open."

The deep, booming voice echoed through the grand foyer, instantly paralyzing every single person in the room. The sheer, cinematic authority in the tone made the crystal chandeliers rattle.

Victoria gasped, spinning around, her red dress swirling around her ankles.

Walking slowly out of the shadows of the main hallway was Gabriel. He moved with the slow, deliberate grace of an apex predator. His black shirt and dark trousers contrasted sharply with the pristine marble floors.

But what shocked Victoria the most wasn't his sudden appearance. It was the fact that the most feared, ruthless man in the city was gently holding the hand of a four-year-old girl in a pink Santa dress.

"Gabriel, darling!" Victoria stammered, frantically trying to plaster on a sweet, innocent smile. She gestured wildly toward the open doors. "What are you doing out of your study? This incompetent maid was just trying to steal from us! I had to throw her out to protect the estate!"

Gabriel didn't look at Victoria. He completely ignored her.

He walked directly past his fiancée, pulling Lily gently along with him. He stepped right out into the freezing, violent blizzard, completely unfazed by the cold.

He crouched down in the snow in front of Clara.

Clara flinched, expecting the terrifying boss to strike her. Instead, Gabriel took off his heavy, expensive suit jacket and wrapped it securely around Clara’s shivering, freezing shoulders.

"Mommy!" Lily cried, letting go of Gabriel's hand and running into her mother's arms.

Clara sobbed heavily, clutching her little girl against her chest, utterly confused by the mafia boss's sudden mercy.

Gabriel stood up to his full height. He turned around and walked slowly back up the icy steps, stepping back into the warm foyer. He locked his dark, intense eyes onto Victoria.
