Chapter 10 - The Matriarch's Peace

The bright, beautiful afternoon sunshine poured through the massive floor-to-ceiling windows, illuminating a house finally filled with absolute peace.

Hannah stood near the elegant dining table, completely free of the gray and white uniform. She wore a sharp, elegant blouse and dark trousers, radiating absolute health, power, and undeniable confidence as she managed the household staff.

She smiled warmly, looking toward the center of the room.

Luca was sitting at the table, wearing a relaxed, comfortable sweater instead of a sharp black suit. He was smiling, completely disarmed and at peace, carefully helping his mother with her afternoon tea.

Teresa wasn't wearing a sequined dress, and she wasn't clutching an old blanket in fear. She wore a beautiful, warm cashmere sweater, looking incredibly healthy, radiant, and deeply loved. She laughed softly at a joke her son made, her eyes completely free of the terror she had carried a year ago.

Hannah smiled, her heart swelling with an overwhelming, unshakeable peace. The nightmare was completely over, proving that true power isn't found in a massive bank account or a designer dress—it is found in having the incredible, fearless courage to completely destroy the monsters who try to prey on the innocent.

Do you think exiling his brother and throwing the fiancée out barefoot was enough justice, or did the cruel couple deserve a harsher punishment for freezing the mother?
