Chapter 4 - The Sincere Bow

"Excuse me?" Tyler snapped viciously, his toxic arrogance flaring as he glared at the man in the black vest. "Do you have any idea who I am? Get back in the kitchen before I have you fired!"

Sam completely, aggressively ignored the screaming millionaire.

A wide cinematic shot captured the breathtaking moment. The mocking laughter in the ballroom completely died out, replaced by a stunned, deafening silence.

Sam slowly turned his back on Tyler. With absolute, flawless precision, he walked over to a nearby cocktail table and set his heavy silver tray down. He didn't rush. He didn't look at the shocked, wealthy crowd. He walked directly toward Audrey, stopping gently in front of her manual wheelchair.

Sam didn't mock her. He didn't pity her.

He bowed slightly, offering a gesture of profound, undeniable respect that completely restored her dignity. He slowly reached out and offered his open, calloused hand to the beautiful woman in the dark green dress.

"Would you give me this dance?" Sam asked. His voice was incredibly gentle, utterly sincere, and completely devoid of any malice.
