Chapter 6 - The Dance of Dignity

"Yes," Audrey whispered, her voice cracking with overwhelming emotion.

She reached out and placed her delicate hand gently into Sam’s open, calloused palm.

Sam didn't awkwardly pull her. With slow, elegant, and cinematic grace, he took a step back and gently guided her manual wheelchair. He spun her smoothly across the highly polished marble floor, treating her with the absolute, undeniable reverence of a true queen. For sixty beautiful seconds, they danced. He gave her the dignity, the spotlight, and the magical moment that Tyler had tried to violently steal from her.

Audrey laughed, a bright, beautiful sound that brought tears of profound relief to her father's eyes in the background.

But Tyler was completely losing his mind.

His face turned violently purple. He had been entirely upstaged and publicly humiliated by a minimum-wage waiter.

"Where is the general manager?!" Tyler roared aggressively, screaming at the top of his lungs. "I want this pathetic waiter fired! I want him arrested for harassing a guest! Get the manager right now!"

The heavy mahogany doors of the ballroom violently swung open. The hotel's elite general manager sprinted into the room, flanked by four massive, heavily armed corporate security guards.

👉 Tyler smirked triumphantly, entirely convinced the waiter was about to be thrown out onto the street.
