Chapter 3 - The Stolen Legacy

"Find out who she is," Gabriel commanded flawlessly, his voice carrying the crushing weight of an absolute apex predator.

The next morning, the soft, warm sunlight poured through the windows of Monroe Blooms, a small, struggling Manhattan flower shop. Beatrice stood behind the wooden counter, completely exhausted. She was drowning in a massive, crushing mountain of financial debt. Her late father, Arthur Monroe, had been a brilliant businessman before his empire was mysteriously destroyed by a corrupt rival, leaving Beatrice with nothing but this tiny shop and millions in fabricated liabilities.

The bell above the door chimed aggressively.

Vanessa, the arrogant woman in the white fur coat from the night before, marched into the shop. Vanessa’s father, Richard, was the exact billionaire who had maliciously bankrupted Beatrice's family.

"I need twenty centerpieces for the Metropolitan Winter Gala tonight," Vanessa demanded coldly, looking around the modest shop with sheer disgust. "And I expect a massive discount. After all, your pathetic father owed my family everything when he died in disgrace."

Beatrice’s hands trembled, but she held her head high, refusing to let the cruel heiress break her spirit. She was about to politely ask Vanessa to leave her shop, but the heavy glass door swung open again.

👉 Two massive men in tailored dark suits walked in, carrying an object that would completely shatter Vanessa's arrogant reality.
