Chapter 6 - The VIP Monster

The Manager began to sweat profusely, his knees physically shaking beneath his tailored trousers.

"Sir, I... I didn't know!" the Manager stammered frantically, holding his hands up in defense. "The VIP guest in the private room told me she was a vagrant! I was just following the instructions of a high-paying customer! I was trying to protect the restaurant's reputation!"

Julian took a slow, deliberate step toward the Manager, his all-black suit projecting the aura of a grim reaper.

"You put your hands on my mother," Julian whispered, his voice vibrating with a lethal, demonic promise of violence.

Before Julian could completely destroy the man, the heavy mahogany doors of the private VIP room swung open.

Chloe stepped out into the main dining room, holding a half-empty glass of expensive champagne. She was laughing loudly with her socialite friends, completely annoyed by the commotion near the front of the restaurant.

"Marcus, I thought I told you to get rid of that crazy old bat!" Chloe yelled across the room, entirely oblivious to the situation.

Then, she turned her head.

She saw Eleanor sitting on the gold chair. She saw the crying waitress. And then, her eyes locked onto the towering, imposing figure of Julian, surrounded by his massive bodyguards.
