Chapter 2 - The Manager's Disgust

The cinematic realism of the heavy, suffocating tension instantly paralyzed the restaurant.

A tight close-up focused entirely on Daniel. The rugged, working-class father didn't panic. He gently pulled his daughter closer, kissing the top of her head to comfort her. But when he raised his dark eyes back to the arrogant manager, his natural micro-expressions shifted from gentle father to sharp, undeniable authority.

"No, sweetheart," Daniel whispered softly to his daughter. "We didn't do anything wrong."

Vanessa scoffed loudly, dramatically rolling her eyes. She wasn't just being rude; she was actively, intentionally trying to publicly humiliate the poor family.

"This is an incredibly exclusive, five-star establishment," Vanessa hissed venomously, aggressively waving her hand toward Daniel's worn canvas jacket. "We have a strict dress code. Your wet, muddy boots and that disgusting jacket are completely ruining the aesthetic of my dining room. My VIP guests are complaining about the smell."

Daniel remained perfectly calm. He looked around the restaurant. Not a single wealthy guest was looking at them with disgust. In fact, most people were staring at the arrogant manager, completely shocked by her incredibly unprofessional, cruel outburst.
