The cinematic realism of the suffocating, paralyzing terror completely electrified the upscale restaurant.
The heavy encrypted phone automatically connected via speaker. A deep, powerful, and undeniably authoritative voice echoed flawlessly across the dead-silent dining room.
"Take your hand off my boss right now, or you will never work in this state again."
The massive security guard physically froze. He instantly ripped his hand away from Daniel's jacket as if the fabric was actively on fire.
Vanessa’s arrogant, cold smile violently vanished. All the color instantly drained from her powdered face, leaving her looking like a terrified ghost. She knew that voice. Every single employee in the restaurant knew that voice. It was Mr. Sterling, the ruthless, untouchable billionaire who owned the entire multi-million-dollar restaurant group.
"Mr... Mr. Sterling?" Vanessa stammered frantically, completely abandoning her sharp, sophisticated persona. Her voice cracked with pure, unadulterated panic. "Sir, I... I was just removing a trespasser! He doesn't meet our dress code!"
"That man isn't a trespasser, Vanessa," Mr. Sterling’s voice commanded coldly through the speaker. "That is Daniel Vance. The majority shareholder and the absolute sole owner of the Sterling Corporation."
