Chapter 7 - The Banishment

"No! Please, Dante!" Isabella shrieked hysterically, dropping to her knees beside Carlo. She crawled desperately across the spilled wine, ruining her expensive red dress. "I was forced into this! He threatened my family! I love you!"

Dante looked down at the weeping, pathetic monster who had tried to murder him for a paycheck.

"You slashed an innocent woman in my house," Dante replied quietly, entirely immune to her fake tears. "You poisoned my cup. You are nothing but a parasite."

Dante looked at his loyal enforcers.

"Strip her," Dante commanded coldly.

The massive guards stepped forward. They violently ripped the blinding diamond earrings from Isabella's ears. They tore the massive diamond wedding ring off her finger. They confiscated her phone and her keys, completely stripping her of the luxury and power she had killed for.

"Throw them both out," Dante ordered, his voice echoing with absolute doom. "Drive them to the edge of the city and leave them in the street. If the feds don't pick them up by morning, the rival families will."

"No! Dante! You can't do this to me!" Isabella screamed, thrashing wildly as the guards violently hauled her to her feet.

They dragged the weeping, humiliated traitors backward out of the elegant dining room. Their desperate cries echoed down the hallway until the heavy front doors slammed shut, permanently swallowing their toxic existence into violent ruin.
