Chapter 8 - The White Dress Arrest

Dante’s Head of Security had contacted the FBI the second Dante read the forged Last Will and Testament.
The heavy mahogany front doors of the estate burst open. A dozen federal agents and local police officers swarmed into the grand marble corridor, their weapons drawn. Dante calmly handed the lead detective the forged legal document, the vial of poison, and the suppressed pistol.
“Victoria Vance,” the detective announced, reading the horrific evidence. “You are under arrest for conspiracy to commit murder, massive wire fraud, and attempted extortion.”
“Don't touch me!” Victoria wailed hysterically as the officers forcefully hauled her to her feet.
They didn't let her change out of her elegant white designer dress. They violently slapped heavy steel handcuffs over her wrists, completely snagging the delicate fabric.
The officers dragged the screaming, thrashing socialite directly through the center of the grand marble corridor. They paraded her in front of every single elite servant and security guard she had abused for the last year. The staff watched in absolute, stunned silence as the tyrant was finally brought to justice.
Because the media had been tipped off, news cameras flashed wildly outside the front gates. They filmed the arrogant fiancée being shoved into the back of a police cruiser, weeping like a pathetic criminal.
Her high-society reputation, her freedom, and her arrogant life were permanently, entirely swallowed into violent ruin. She was going to spend the rest of her natural life rotting in a federal prison.
