Chapter 5 - The Public Humiliation

Instantly, the heavy oak doors of the grand ballroom swung open.

Two massive, heavily tattooed enforcers in black suits marched directly into the marble hallway. They didn't treat Margaret like a respected event supervisor. They treated her like a hostile, dangerous, and completely neutralized target.

"Take her gold watch. Take her phone. Take her keys," Gabriel commanded, his voice echoing with absolute, unquestionable authority.

"Mr. Moretti, please!" Margaret shrieked wildly, completely abandoning her chic, arrogant persona as the massive guards violently grabbed her arms. "I have a family! It's Christmas Eve! You can't do this!"

"You didn't care that it was Christmas Eve when you tried to starve a three-year-old girl," Gabriel whispered softly, leaning in so his voice carried a terrifying, untouchable power.

"I'm sorry!" Margaret sobbed hysterically.

"My accountants are seizing your entire catering agency as of this exact second," Gabriel announced flawlessly. "Every single dollar you stole from these women will be returned to them with heavy interest. You are completely bankrupt."

Margaret let out an apocalyptic shriek of pure, unadulterated terror.

The wealthy guests inside the ballroom began to murmur, peeking out into the hallway to watch the massive scandal unfold.

"Throw her out the service exit," Gabriel ordered ruthlessly. "And if I ever see her face in my city again, I will handle her myself."

The wealthy elites watched in absolute, stunned silence as the cruel, arrogant supervisor was forcefully dragged backward down the hallway, crying and screaming in total, undeniable disgrace.
