Eric saw Chloe in handcuffs and exploded.
He charged toward Paige.
This time, two officers stopped him.
Margaret screamed that Paige was destroying the family.
Robert remained in the wheelchair.
Neighbors recorded.
Eric shouted:
“She gave us permission!”
Paige turned.
“When?”
“When you signed the mortgage.”
“One mortgage.”
“You knew we needed help.”
“That is not permission to become me.”
The sentence quieted even Margaret.
Identity theft inside families often hid behind emotional entitlement.
The thief did not always believe they were stealing.
They believed the responsible person would understand.
Police arrested Eric for assault threats, suspected fraud, and evidence destruction.
Chloe requested an attorney.
Margaret collapsed again.
