Chapter 10 - The Ultimate Eviction

"Throw them out," Valerie ordered her security team without raising her voice.
The guards didn't let Brenda or the grandfather pack a single bag. They didn't let them grab their expensive jewelry, their phones, or their luxury coats. The screaming, humiliated monsters were physically dragged to the curb, entirely stripped of the wealth and power they had used to abuse others for decades.
Valerie didn't look back. She climbed into the back of the ambulance to be with her son.
Six months later, the nightmare was entirely over.
Chloe was sentenced to three years in a state penitentiary for felony child abuse, her precious reputation permanently destroyed. Brenda and the grandfather were completely bankrupt, forced to move into a tiny, rundown apartment on the outskirts of the city, surviving entirely on meager social security checks. They lost absolutely everything.
Toby’s arm healed perfectly. He was no longer a frightened boy hiding in the corner; he ran happily through the grand, bright hallways of the massive mansion, entirely safe and deeply loved.
Valerie finally stopped hiding her success. She managed her massive corporate empire with absolute grace, fierce loyalty, and undeniable compassion.

If you were Valerie, would you have warned them before seizing the accounts, or was letting them think they were untouchable right up until the arrest the absolute perfect revenge?
