Chapter 8 - The Boss's Fury

Dante didn't just walk into the room. He exploded into it with the terrifying, unstoppable force of a freight train.

Before Marco could even pivot his weapon, Dante’s massive, tattooed hand clamped violently around his brother's wrist. With a sickening snap, Dante effortlessly broke Marco’s arm.

Marco let out a horrific, high-pitched shriek as the suppressed pistol clattered onto the hardwood floor.

Dante’s face was a mask of absolute, demonic fury. The grief that had haunted him for eighteen months was instantly weaponized into lethal vengeance.

"You touched my wife," Dante roared, his voice shaking the very foundation of the mansion. "And you pointed a gun at the child who saved her."

Dante didn't show an ounce of brotherly mercy. He threw a devastating, bone-crushing punch directly into Marco’s jaw, instantly shattering it. The treacherous Underboss collapsed onto the expensive rug, weeping and choking on his own blood.

Dante stepped over his broken brother and immediately shielded Rosa and Sophia behind his broad, tailored shoulders.

"Are you hurt?" Dante asked Rosa, his voice instantly dropping into a gentle, fiercely protective tone.

"We're okay," Rosa gasped, holding a trembling Sophia tightly in her arms.
