Chapter 3 - The Hidden Child

Elena, a thirty-something woman with dark hair and a messy maid's apron, ran frantically around the corner and skidded to a halt in the office doorway.

A wide shot captured her face turning violently pale with sheer, absolute terror. She saw the ruthless, untouchable mafia boss holding her fragile daughter. She knew Alessandro’s strict, unforgiving rules: no children, no families, no distractions allowed in the penthouse under any circumstances.

"I'm sorry!" Elena whispered in a complete, breathless panic, dropping to her knees on the marble floor. "I'm so sorry, Mr. Alessandro! Please, don't hurt her!"

Alessandro didn't yell at her. He slowly stood up to his full, towering height, holding the baby securely against his chest with one strong arm. He looked at his terrified maid kneeling on the floor. His intimidating, cold demeanor completely softened into genuine, profound confusion.

"How long has she been here, Elena?" Alessandro asked seriously, his voice dropping to a quiet, demanding frequency.

A tight close-up captured Elena trembling violently. She looked down at the floor, tears of absolute panic streaming down her face, knowing she was about to expose a massive violation of his estate rules.
