Chapter 7 - The Basement Justice
"I'm sorry, Boss!" Leo shrieked pathetically, completely dropping his arrogant, tough-guy facade as he sobbed in sheer terror. "I needed the money! I had gambling debts! Have mercy!"
The Boss felt absolutely zero human empathy for the monster crying on the floor.
"Take him to the basement," the Boss ordered his remaining, fiercely loyal guards, his voice echoing violently over the quiet mansion. "We handle family treason in the dark. And make sure he understands exactly why he is there before you finish it."
Four massive guards immediately stepped forward. They violently grabbed the thrashing, panicking Leo by his arms and legs, hauling him entirely off the marble floor.
"No! Please!" Leo wailed hysterically as they dragged him toward the heavy steel doors at the back of the mansion. His desperate, pathetic cries faded into the distance, ending his reign of toxic greed, cruelty, and betrayal forever.
The grand foyer fell into a profound, heavy, and incredibly peaceful silence.
The Boss stood alone in the center of the room, breathing heavily, his chest tattoo visible through his open shirt. He had just brutally purged his inner circle, and his empire was completely secure.
