Chapter 8 - The Rival's Eradication

"No! Please, Dante! They'll slaughter my entire family!" Camilla shrieked, desperately trying to grab his ankle.

"Take her out," Dante commanded coldly, completely ignoring her pathetic cries.

Four massive, heavily armed guards stormed into the master suite. They violently hauled the weeping, thrashing socialite to her feet, dragging her backward out of the room. Her hysterical screams echoed down the long marble hallway until the heavy front doors slammed shut, swallowing her toxic existence into violent ruin forever.

Dante turned to his head of security.

"The GPS tracker on Harper's laptop is active," Dante ordered, his voice echoing with absolute doom. "The rival cartel is hiding in the old warehouse on the south side. Take forty men. Leave absolutely no survivors. Bring me the man who put his hands on her."

The guards nodded and vanished into the night.

For the next two hours, the city of Chicago experienced a quiet, systematic bloodbath. Dante's elite enforcers breached the rival's warehouse, completely overwhelming the panicked, financially ruined cartel members.

The three men in the cheap suits who had grabbed my arms and fractured my ribs were permanently, violently erased from the earth.

The threat was entirely neutralized. The empire was secure.
