Chapter 8 - The Digital Guillotine

"You were going to be a widow with a multi-billion-dollar inheritance," Dante corrected coldly, entirely immune to her fake tears.
He didn't pull a weapon to shoot them. A quick bullet in the rain was far too generous for the traitors who had murdered an innocent mechanic and tried to send their king off a cliff.
Dante reached into his unbuttoned shirt and pulled out his encrypted, waterproof smartphone.
"While you were busy following my car to ensure I was dead," Dante explained smoothly, "I was sitting in the back seat noticing the brakes felt soft. I already suspected you, Marcus. I just needed proof."
Marcus whimpered, shivering violently in the cold.
"I triggered the fail-safe protocols on our secure servers ten minutes ago," Dante stated, his voice echoing with absolute doom. "I seized every single offshore account you own, Marcus. I liquidated your shell companies. The ten million dollars you stole from the Chicago cartel to fund this little coup is completely gone."
Marcus let out a horrific, high-pitched shriek of pure agony. "No! Dante, they'll skin me alive! You can't take the money!"
"And you, Elena," Dante turned his cold eyes to his weeping fiancée. "I just transferred the deed to your family's estate and all your trust funds directly into a corporate holding account. You are completely, permanently bankrupt. You have absolutely nothing."

Elena shrieked, tearing at her own hair in pure, humiliating terror as the reality of her total destruction crashed down on her.
👉 The traitors were completely broken, leaving Dante to issue the final, devastating command of their lives.
