Chapter 7 - The True Ownership

The cinematic realism of the suffocating tension in the glass office reached a boiling point.

Adrian slowly unbuttoned the cuffs of his black dress shirt. With chilling, methodical precision, he rolled the sleeves up past his elbows.

Greg’s arrogant smirk instantly vanished. All the color violently drained from his face as he stared at the billionaire's exposed forearms.

Adrian wasn't just a wealthy corporate executive. His muscular forearms and wrists were entirely covered in intricate, dark, and highly realistic mafia tattoos—symbols of the brutal, undisputed criminal syndicate that ruled the Chicago underworld.

The four "corporate security guards" stepped fully into the office, their suit jackets shifting to reveal the heavy tactical holsters strapped to their chests. The men didn't look like mall cops; they looked like highly trained, merciless cartel enforcers.

The heavy glass door clicked shut, electronically locked from the outside.

"You... you're Adrian Moretti," Greg stammered, his voice suddenly cracking into a high-pitched, breathless squeak as the horrifying realization finally broke through his delusion.

"I am," Adrian confirmed smoothly, walking until he was standing mere inches away from the trembling abuser. "And you have made a catastrophic miscalculation, Gregory."

Adrian casually reached into the pocket of his tailored charcoal trousers and pulled out a folded piece of heavy parchment paper. He dropped it directly on top of Greg's property transfer deeds.

👉 Greg looked down at the document, and the financial reality of his situation made him drop to his knees in pure terror.
