Chapter 4 - The False Control

Graham stepped aggressively closer to her wheelchair, invading her personal space.
He leaned down, placing his heavy hands on the armrests, trying to physically box her in and assert his usual, toxic dominance over the situation. He completely ignored her agonizing pain, focusing only on fixing the optical mess he was standing in.
"I'll arrange a private room on the VIP floor," Graham snapped, his voice sharp and commanding. "I'll get better doctors flown in from New York. I will handle this, Audrey, just like I handle everything else. You just need to calm down and stop making a scene in a public hospital."
Audrey slowly looked back up at him.
An extreme, cinematic close-up captured her dry, lethal eyes. The billionaire thought he could buy his way out of his horrific betrayal with VIP rooms and expensive specialists. He thought he could buy her silence.
"The doctors are handling it," Audrey replied coldly. "And you aren't handling anything."
Before Graham could bark another arrogant command, the heavy doors of the NICU swung open.
A tall, intimidating man in a sharp black suit stepped into the room. It wasn't a doctor. It was Marcus, Graham’s ruthlessly efficient head of corporate security.
Marcus looked incredibly pale.

"Mr. Vance," Marcus interrupted, his voice trembling slightly. "We have a massive problem at the South Port."
