Chapter 10 - The Unbreakable Queen

The chaotic, toxic energy was completely dragged out of the executive boardroom.

Vincent remained sobbing uncontrollably on the floor, completely stripped of his power, his pride, and his entire identity. The security guards aggressively hauled him to his feet, dragging the weeping, disgraced man out of the corporate headquarters and throwing him onto the street with absolutely nothing but the clothes on his back.

Claire didn't shed a single tear for him.

She stood tall, gently rocking her sleeping baby girl. Salvatore walked over to her, his terrifying demeanor softening completely for the mother of his great-grandchild.

"The family trust is fully restructured," Salvatore promised quietly, placing a respectful hand on Claire’s shoulder. "Vincent's entire inheritance has been legally transferred directly to your daughter. You have full custody, absolute financial independence, and the unconditional protection of this family."

Six months later, the dark shadows of betrayal were permanently banished.

Vincent was forced to sign over the mansion to avoid federal prison. Completely bankrupt and alienated from the elite society he once ruled, he ended up working a miserable, minimum-wage job on the other side of the country, rotting in obscurity. Sophia tried to blackmail another wealthy executive but was swiftly arrested for extortion, her life entirely ruined.

Claire never looked back. She didn't just survive postpartum depression and a brutal betrayal; she emerged as an incredibly wealthy, fiercely independent, and completely untouchable mother.

She sat on the balcony of her own breathtaking penthouse, holding her happy, healthy baby, completely secure in her power. The toxic parasites were gone, replaced by a life built on absolute truth, undeniable courage, and perfect justice.

If you were Claire, would you have sent Vincent to federal prison anyway, or was leaving him completely broke and humiliated the absolute perfect revenge?
