"The assets are completely locked," Arthur stated flawlessly over the speaker. "And Samantha is entirely, permanently removed as a beneficiary."
Samantha let out a horrific, breathless gasp of pure despair. "Mom! No! You can't do this! I'm your daughter!"
"You just tried to steal my entire life and weaponize my grandson," Patricia stated smoothly, looking dead into Samantha's terrified eyes. "You aren't a daughter. You are a predator."
"And Brandon," Arthur added lethally, entirely destroying the arrogant fiancé. "If you or Samantha ever attempt to contact Patricia with legal documents again, I will personally hand this audio recording to the District Attorney's office. You will both be facing five to ten years in federal prison."
Brandon scrambled backward into the velvet booth, his arrogant facade completely shattered. He realized he was standing on the edge of a massive prison sentence. He was completely broke, entirely cut off from the millions he thought he was going to steal.
