Chapter 9 - The Total Destruction

Rachel turned her cold, unbothered gaze toward the panicked older woman.
"Then you better start packing, Diane," Rachel stated ruthlessly.
The guests began pulling out their phones, recording the absolute destruction of the arrogant groom and his manipulative mother.
"I didn't just rip up the contract, Carter," Rachel whispered, looking back down at the man sobbing at her feet. "Before I walked down this aisle, my legal team forwarded all of your fraudulent loan applications to the federal authorities. They know you forged my signature on your collateral documents."
Carter let out a horrific, high-pitched wail of pure agony.
He was entirely, permanently bankrupt. He had drugged and humiliated the woman he was supposed to love, and in exactly sixty seconds, he had lost absolutely everything he ever owned.
He wasn't just going to be broke. He was going to federal prison.
"Rachel, I beg of you!" Carter sobbed, tears and drool ruining his expensive black tuxedo. "I have nothing! You can't just leave me like this!"
