Chapter 23 - the invisible war

Arthur stepped forward, shielding his wife and daughter, his dark eyes radiating pure fury. But Emma didn't cower behind her father. The brilliant twenty-year-old calmly pulled a sleek, encrypted tablet from her designer bag.

"He thinks he locked us in," Emma whispered, her fingers flying across the glowing screen with blinding speed. "But he just locked himself onto our private server. I am bypassing the compromised mainframe right now."

Anna and Arthur watched in profound pride as their daughter operated like a flawless, highly lethal digital executioner. She didn't rely on outside agencies; she utilized the deep, hidden intelligence network Arthur had built.

"They are routing their IP addresses through proxy servers in Europe," Emma analyzed, her face reflecting the harsh blue glow. "But Silas’s primary attack algorithm has a microscopic flaw. It's far too aggressive."
