Chapter 7 - The Sister's Rage

"You opened credit cards in my name?!" Lauren shrieked wildly, lunging forward like a feral animal and violently grabbing Ryan by the collar of his bright tropical shirt.
"I needed the deposit money!" Ryan sobbed hysterically, completely powerless to stop his sister's wrath as she shoved him against the kitchen counter. "I was going to pay it off before the first statement arrived! The hotel required a massive hold for the damages deposit!"
"You've ruined my credit!" Lauren roared, tears of pure, unadulterated terror pouring down her face. "I'm trying to buy a house, you selfish idiot! I'm completely bankrupt!"
Teresa was hyperventilating, realizing her golden boy was nothing but a criminal fraud who had actively destroyed their entire family in a desperate attempt to look wealthy.
"This is completely unacceptable!" Teresa shrieked wildly, violently thrashing her arms. She pointed aggressively at Patricia. "You can't just kick us out into a snowstorm! It's Christmas week! We don't have anywhere else to go! Our own homes are locked up and we canceled all our holiday plans!"
"Then you should have thought about that before you gleefully dragged my stolen suitcase to the airport," Patricia stated clinically, entirely devoid of human warmth.
"I'm calling the police!" Ryan wailed pathetically, reaching for his smartphone. "I have squatter's rights! You have to give me a thirty-day eviction notice! I know the law!"
