Chapter 10 - The Ultimate Deception Destroyed

Medium shot: The horrifying, deeply disturbing reality of the massive, sociopathic deception hit the young billionaire like a physical blow to the skull.

Lily stood completely fearlessly beside her paralyzed father. She held the empty, highly realistic, and incredibly creepy silicone face mask high up into the air, holding it directly out toward David.

"Fake!" Lily screamed, her tiny voice sobbing, completely breaking under the immense emotional weight of the nightmare, finally proving to the entire world that she had been absolutely right the entire time.

David’s paralysis completely, violently shattered.

The young, naive groom instantly transformed into a terrifying, ruthless protector. He didn't even speak to the old woman standing in the wedding dress. He immediately ordered his heavily armed, massive security detail to brutally tackle Agatha to the stone floor, entirely securing the monstrous traitor before she could take a single step toward the exit.

David didn't wait for the police. He violently ripped his expensive navy blue suit jacket off, throwing it to the floor. He rushed directly to the jagged hole in the rose wall, entirely ignoring the sharp wooden splinters tearing his crisp white shirt. He reached into the dark, damp cavity and gently, desperately pulled his battered, weeping wife out of her prison, holding Sarah incredibly tightly against his chest.

Lily immediately ran into her parents' arms, the three of them collapsing together on the cold stone floor of the cathedral, completely surrounded by shredded white roses and broken wood, weeping tears of profound, absolute joy.
