Chapter 9 - Ripping the Mask

Close-up: Tight, terrifying shot on the Bride's face.
Lily didn't just touch the woman's jaw. Her tiny, surprisingly strong fingers violently, aggressively pinched the thick, rubbery material tightly between her knuckles.
With a fierce, absolutely terrifying, and deeply sickening pull, Lily yanked her hands entirely upward.
The horrible, wet, and deeply unnatural sound of heavy rubber stretching and tearing echoed loudly through the silent cathedral.
The flawless, beautiful, and perfectly contoured face of the blonde bride didn't just distort; it completely peeled away. The hyper-realistic, multi-thousand-dollar custom silicone face mask was violently ripped entirely off the woman's skull, completely tearing the pearl headband away and taking the blonde wig with it.
The collective, horrified scream of the hundreds of wealthy wedding guests completely shattered the stained-glass windows.
Underneath the incredibly expensive, flawless silicone disguise was not a beautiful young woman in her thirties.
Standing in the custom white wedding dress was Agatha. She was an incredibly elderly, heavily hunched woman with deeply wrinkled, sagging skin, incredibly sparse, wispy white hair, and eyes completely wide in sheer, unadulterated shock and profound terror.
Agatha had been the family’s incredibly trusted, supposedly sweet head housekeeper for over twenty years. Everyone believed she had peacefully retired to Florida six months ago.
