Chapter 10 - The True Queen

The chaotic, violent energy was entirely dragged out of the beautiful Manhattan ballroom.

The suffocating tension completely evaporated, replaced by an overwhelming, profound sense of justice and peace. The wealthy guests and corporate board members turned their attention back to the woman standing in the center of the dance floor.

Lena didn't look like a maid anymore.

She stood tall, her chin raised, exuding the absolute, untouchable power of a true CEO. She had survived the devastating loss of her father, endured six months of humiliating undercover labor, and executed a masterclass in flawless, lethal revenge.

The Head of Security respectfully handed Lena a glass of expensive champagne.

She took the crystal glass, her dark eyes scanning the magnificent crystal chandeliers and the beautiful floral arrangements of the ballroom that finally, legally, belonged to her again.

Alexander was sentenced to twenty years in federal prison for defrauding the Sterling empire. His girlfriend received five years for her complicity. They lost absolutely everything, banished to cold concrete cells while the world completely forgot their names.

Lena didn't just reclaim her father's company; she expanded it, leading the multi-billion-dollar empire with fierce independence, absolute integrity, and undeniable courage. She was the undisputed queen of her domain, and she would never let anyone steal her crown again.

If you were Lena, would you have warned Alexander about the FBI raid, or was letting him get arrested in front of his wealthy guests the absolute perfect revenge?
