Chapter 10 - The Unbreakable Bond

"Daddy!" Zion cheered, tossing the bear aside and reaching his tiny arms out.
Marcus rushed to the bed, carefully scooping his beautiful son up into his strong arms, pulling him into a fierce, desperate, unbreakable embrace. He buried his face in Zion’s neck, listening to his steady, perfect heartbeat, tears of absolute joy finally falling from his eyes.
"I'm right here, buddy," Marcus whispered, kissing his son's cheek. "Daddy's right here. And I am never letting anyone hurt you again."
Emily stood in the doorway, smiling brightly, watching the beautiful family finally find peace.
In the months that followed, Marcus completely destroyed his stepbrother's financial empire, handing Thomas over to the FBI alongside Margaret. They were both sentenced to thirty years in federal prison for attempted murder and corporate espionage, entirely stripped of their wealth and abandoned by high society.
Marcus stepped back from his grueling corporate schedule, realizing that his greatest asset wasn't his company, but the time he spent with his son. He and Emily built an unbreakable bond of trust, raising Zion in a home filled with genuine love, safety, and immense happiness.
