Chapter 10 - The Unbreakable Legacy

Three days later, the hospital was bathed in a warm, peaceful morning light.

The toxic, fearful atmosphere that Grant had cultivated was completely eradicated. The staff walked the halls with a renewed sense of purpose and relief, knowing the dark cloud of corporate greed had finally been lifted from their sanctuary.

Hannah sat comfortably in the premium VIP recovery suite. The dark bruises on her face were slowly fading, replaced by a radiant, peaceful glow. She was no longer wearing cheap green scrubs. She wore a soft, comfortable robe, holding her beautiful, perfectly healthy baby boy against her chest.

Dr. Harrison stood by the window, reviewing the legal paperwork that officially restored the hospital's charitable foundation and secured Hannah as the undisputed head of the board.

Grant was sitting in a federal holding cell, denied bail, facing multiple life sentences for orchestrating his brother's death and attempting to murder his sister-in-law. His offshore accounts were seized, completely dismantling his corrupt empire.

Paige walked into the room carrying a massive bouquet of fresh flowers, smiling brightly at the new mother. Hannah looked down at her son, seeing Elias’s kind eyes staring back at her, knowing she had fought through hell to ensure his legacy would survive.

The hospital was finally back in the hands of someone who truly cared for the people inside it.

If you were Hannah, would you have allowed Grant to stand trial publicly to expose his crimes, or was having him silently locked away in federal prison the absolute perfect revenge?
