Wide shot: The Grandmother completely lost her mind.
Terrified of the judging stares of the elite crowd, and completely panicked by the absolute destruction of her unearned wealth and social status, the older woman took a violent, frantic step backward away from the dining table.
Her high heel snagged aggressively on the edge of the expensive Persian rug.
The Grandmother stumbled backward wildly, her arms flailing in the air. She completely lost her balance and crashed spectacularly, violently backward directly into the massive, towering, giant white multi-tiered anniversary cake displayed directly behind her.
The destruction was absolute and beautiful.
The massive cake completely exploded upon impact. Thick white frosting, heavy layers of sponge cake, and expensive sugar decorations violently collapsed, completely burying the cruel matriarch under a mountain of ruined dessert as the wealthy guests audibly gasped in profound, horrified shock.
There was absolutely no dialogue in the room. There was only the loud, chaotic sound of gasping guests and the heavy, wet smash of the giant cake completely destroying the Grandmother's expensive dark burgundy dress.
Jessie didn't stay to watch the pathetic woman try to stand up.
Holding her precious baby girl tightly against her sage green dress, Jessie turned her back on the completely destroyed, fraudulent family. She walked proudly and fiercely out of the elegant banquet hall, her head held high, leaving her cowardly, penniless husband entirely behind in the wreckage.
