The heavy steel doors slammed shut, completely silencing Serena's pathetic screams. The toxic, treacherous energy was entirely dragged out of the grand luxury penthouse.

He immediately rushed over to the grand piano. He crouched down on the polished marble floor, opening his arms wide. Rose, still wearing her pale cream dress and white hair bow, ran out from her hiding spot. She threw her tiny arms securely around her father’s neck, burying her face in his shoulder.
"You did so good, my brave girl," Dominic whispered fiercely, tears of profound, overwhelming relief finally filling his dark eyes as he held her tightly against his chest. "You saved us. You are so incredibly brave."
Dominic didn't just survive a massive assassination attempt; he completely eradicated his biggest rival and successfully purged the deadly poison from his own home.
He rebuilt his empire with absolute, flawless security, ensuring that absolutely no one would ever infiltrate his family's inner circle again. Serena was locked away in a dark cell for the rest of her miserable life, completely forgotten by the world she tried to manipulate.
