"Step away from the pillar," Ethan commanded, his voice cold and echoing through the damp underground cellar.
The infiltrator froze, dropping his wire cutters. He slowly turned around, pulling a serrated combat knife from his jacket. He laughed maliciously, thinking the eighteen-year-old heir was just a soft, pampered billionaire's son.
The assassin lunged forward with blinding speed, aiming the blade directly at Ethan's chest. But Ethan didn't panic. He flawlessly executed a close-quarters tactical dodge, stepping inside the attacker's guard.
With a brutal, lightning-fast strike, Ethan disarmed the man and slammed the butt of his pistol against the assassin's temple. The infiltrator collapsed onto the cold stone floor, completely unconscious. Ethan quickly deactivated the crude explosive device, his breathing completely calm and measured.
Up in the control room, Lily watched the entire encounter through the hidden cameras, a proud smile touching her lips. Dominic and Sophia arrived in the cellar moments later.
