Chapter 5 - The Fiancée's Betrayal
The vicious fiancée completely panicked. She knew exactly who Nora was.
Celeste had discovered Nora's true identity two months ago by secretly looking through the maid's background check files. But instead of telling Rafael he had a family, Celeste maliciously kept it a secret. She forcefully assigned Nora to scrub floors and intentionally treated her like absolute garbage so Celeste wouldn't have to share the multi-million-dollar inheritance.
"She is lying to you!" Celeste shrieked hysterically, lunging toward the kneeling mafia boss. "She is a con artist! She found out about your sister and she is trying to steal my money! Throw her out on the street!"
Rafael slowly stood up to his full, towering height.
The vulnerable, weeping uncle completely vanished. The terrifying, utterly demonic apex predator violently returned. He completely dominated the massive room without even raising his voice. He looked down at the screaming thirty-something woman with pure, unfiltered disgust.
"You knew," Rafael whispered coldly, his deep voice radiating a freezing, lethal fury that completely paralyzed the grand hall.
Celeste physically stopped breathing. The warm firelight suddenly felt incredibly freezing.

"I didn't!" Celeste choked out, holding her hand up defensively as profound terror actively destroyed her mind. "Rafael, I swear to God I didn't know!"
👉 Rafael reached into his sharp black suit pocket, entirely ready to detonate a massive bomb on the lying woman.
