Chapter 4 - The Fiancée's Interference

Dominic slowly lowered his muscular, tattooed arms, breaking his ballet pose. The pink tutu rustled softly, a stark contrast to the absolute menace radiating from his body.

From the front row of the audience, Vanessa frantically stood up. She was a stunning woman in her 30s, wearing a designer red dress, but her face was pale with panic. She knew exactly what Dominic was capable of, and she needed to protect her brother.

“Dominic, darling, please,” Vanessa called out, her voice echoing in the tense ballroom. She rushed toward the edge of the stage. “Marco didn't mean anything by it! He’s just clumsy and foolish. Please don't let this ruin Lily’s special day. Let’s just send him home.”

Dominic didn't look at Vanessa. His cold, dark eyes remained entirely fixed on Marco.

“He is going home,” Dominic said. His voice was unnervingly quiet, yet it carried to every corner of the grand ballroom. “But not before he sees the final act.”

Marco frowned, wiping the sweat from his upper lip. "The final act, sir?"

Dominic finally turned his gaze to Vanessa. There was no love in his eyes. There was no warmth for his beautiful fiancée. There was only a chilling, hollow darkness that made Vanessa’s heart stop beating in her chest.
