Chapter 6 - The Billionaire's Identity

Adrien Voss didn't just eat at this upscale restaurant. He was the ruthless, cutthroat billionaire CEO of Vanguard Holdings. He owned the restaurant group. He owned the towering glass skyscraper they were currently standing inside. He owned half the commercial real estate in the city.
He was a man who could destroy an entire corporation with a single phone call.
And Sophie had just publicly accused him of being a coward.
Adrien slowly stood up from his VIP table. His towering, heavily muscular frame cast a dark shadow over the pristine white tablecloth. He didn't look at Sophie. He locked his cold, lethal, apex-predator eyes directly onto Brenda, the manager.
"Lock the front door," Adrien commanded.
His voice wasn't loud, but it carried a chilling, absolute authority that demanded immediate, unquestionable obedience.
Brenda physically staggered backward. "S-sir?"
"I said, lock the doors," Adrien repeated smoothly, taking a slow step toward the panicking manager. "No one leaves this room."
The terrified hostess standing near the entrance didn't wait for Brenda's approval. She immediately slammed her hand onto the electronic security panel. A loud, heavy metallic click echoed through the room as the thick glass front doors of the luxury restaurant were completely sealed.
The grand dining room was entirely locked down.

Adrien walked slowly across the hardwood floor, his polished shoes clicking sharply. He stopped directly in front of Brenda. The arrogant, cruel manager who had been screaming at Sophie just three minutes ago was now trembling so violently that she looked completely pathetic.
👉 Brenda scrambled to defend her actions, completely unaware that she had just locked herself inside a corporate slaughterhouse.
