Chapter 9 - The Corporate Execution

Adrien didn't raise his voice to scream at the thief. He didn't need to.

From the dark shadows of the restaurant lobby, four massive, heavily armed corporate security guards stepped forward. They wore tactical dark suits, and they didn't treat Brenda like a respected general manager. They treated her like a hostile, dangerous, and completely neutralized criminal.

"Take her phone and her keys," Adrien commanded smoothly, adjusting the cuffs of his white shirt. "And call the federal authorities. Tell them we have a suspect detained for felony corporate fraud and massive embezzlement."

Brenda let out a horrific, apocalyptic shriek of pure, unadulterated terror. She wasn't just losing her luxury job in a high-rise restaurant; she was going straight to a federal penitentiary for the next decade.

"No! You can't do this to me!" Brenda screamed wildly, clawing frantically at her own black suit as the massive security guards violently grabbed her arms and hauled her forcefully to her feet. "Let me go! Please!"

The wealthy guests watched in absolute, stunned silence as the cruel, arrogant manager was forcefully dragged backward through the dining room, crying and screaming in total, undeniable disgrace. She was shoved into the back office to await the police, completely stripped of her power and her fake elite status.

The chaotic, toxic energy was forcefully dragged out of the main dining room. The heavy silence returned, but this time, it was filled with profound, absolute justice.

Adrien slowly turned his towering frame back to Sophie.
